The backing pad is used to hold velcro-backed discs of the corresponding diameter.
It was specially developed for use on 3M random orbit sanders (Elite electric series & pneumatic random orbit sanders) and is ideally suited as a universal disc for standard hole patterns.
- The backing pads are used to hold Hookit and Stikit abrasives in a wide range of dimensions
- M14 thread and central water supply
- Flexible sanding thanks to a foam layer between the disc and Velcro pad
- Use with all 3M diamond grinding discs with Velcro backing
- Can be used for multi-hole, 7-, 9- and 15-hole grinding discs on 3M air grinders
