10-pack of Parweld thoriated tungsten electrodes for DC / TIG welding.
These Parweld thoriated tungsten electrodes are 98% tungsten and 2% thorium. They have a very fine grain structure and annealling which makes them resistant to splitting and weld contamination.
Best suited for DC welding with a higher current carrying capacity and greater arc stability.
Capable of AC welding on thin material (Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Nickel and Titanium), less than 1.5mm.
Thorium is radioactive; Always follow the manufacturer’s warnings, instructions, and Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS).
